On Wednesday, June 18, Ingerslev Å solar park was officially opened. Behind the park is BeGreen, a Danish energy actor that both develops, builds, owns, and operates land-based renewable energy projects.

The Board of Directors of BeGreen has appointed Wojciech Cetnarski as the new Chief Executive Officer of BeGreen, as the company prepares for the next phase of its development.

This January, BeGreen achieved a crucial step in energizing the high-voltage (HV) substation at Solar Park Ingerslev Å by successfully completing the soaking of the 60/30 kV transformer. And no, “soaking” doesn’t mean dunking it in water!

This November, the entire BeGreen Team came together for a Team Day. Over 110 colleagues gathered for an inspiring day centered on collaboration and connection in Copenhagen, Denmark.

BeGreen has together with Solar For You and Electrum Concreo, developed a new lifting and installation solution for placing solar panels.

Norwegian energy major, Equinor, now officially owns Danish solar developer, BeGreen, as acquisition has now been closed.

Equinor has signed an agreement to buy BeGreen, a Denmark-based leading solar project developer in North-West Europe. The acquisition strengthens Equinor’s capabilities and portfolio within solar PV.
