Why
Sustainable electricity for Denmark
Climate change is one of the greatest societal challenges we face today. At BeGreen, we are driven by our mission to produce and deliver affordable, sustainable electricity, thereby making a positive contribution to Danes, our society, and the climate.
Through the production of green energy, BeGreen’s solar parks annually save the environment approximately 800 tons of CO2 per hectare. This is equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of 100 people.

Renewable energy reduces CO2 emissions
BeGreen produces green energy from the sun. We contribute to Goal 7 by increasing the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix and to Goal 13 by reducing CO2 emissions through green energy.
Economic growth
BeGreen’s projects contribute to promoting economic growth in society and our supply chains, thus positively contributing to Goal 8. We contribute to Goal 9 by participating in the establishment of energy infrastructure.
Resource efficiency
BeGreen contributes to Goal 12 by promoting resource efficiency and responsible production. Areas used for solar parks are not sprayed with pesticides, thus protecting groundwater reserves, and the management of the landscape in the park has a beneficial effect on life on land (Goal 15).

BeGreen’s 360-degree model for sustainability systematizes our work with sustainability. It is based on an analysis of BeGreen’s environmental and societal impact, allowing us to prioritize our efforts.
BeGreen’s ESG policy
BeGreen's sustainability and ESG policy describe our commitments.
We analyze the impact of our work on both our stakeholders and BeGreen as a business. Based on this, we identify and prioritize areas that become focus areas and sustainability programs.
We have set concrete sustainability goals and defined actions focusing on environmental factors and human rights in our value chains, good neighborliness, biodiversity, recyclability of our materials, and documentation of climate impacts.

BeGreen's ESG Policy
BeGreen’s sustainability and ESG policy describe our commitments. It is based on the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact, which provide the framework for corporate sustainability responsibility. The principles include human rights, labor rights, the environment, and anti-corruption.
