Climate friendly refreshments from Royal Unibrew to hit the shelves.
On Friday June 2nd BeGreen had the pleasure of participating in the opening of the solar park we have built for Royal Unibrew in Faxe Municipality.
The solar park will produce around 12 Gigawatt hours of electricity per year. This corresponds to up to 40 percent of the total energy consumption of Royal Unibrew’s brewery in Faxe.
The mayor of Faxe Municipality, Ole Vive, also took part in the celebrations, and he can look forward to BeGreen’s solar parks injecting even more green electrons into the electricity grid in Faxe when BeGreen’s new solar parks at Freerslev, Bregentved and Turebylille are fully completed.
“BeGreen’s main purpose is to contribute significantly to the green transition. At the same time, we also want to make a positive difference in our local area. Therefore, the collaboration with Royal Unibrew is an obvious choice. Together we can reduce the carbon footprint and make beer, soft drinks and the climate much greener”, says CEO of BeGreen, Anders Dolmer.
