Today, BeGreen develops and builds solar parks for the production of certified green energy in both Denmark, Sweden and Poland. At the same time, we deliver a stable, high return to our owners and contribute to attractive electricity prices for consumers.

We work to integrate sustainability at all levels and in everything we do at BeGreen. We believe that the energy we produce must be sustainable 360 degrees around – economically, environmentally and climate-wise, socially and landscape-wise.
We have set concrete targets for sustainability and defined actions with a focus on environmental factors and human rights in our value chains, good neighbourliness, biodiversity, reusability of our materials and documentation of the climate effects.

Solution
BeGreen develops, builds and maintains large-scale solar parks in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Poland.
We do this with a 360 degree approach to sustainability in all our projects from cradle to grave.
Results
To date, BeGreen has built 9 utility-scale solar plants in Denmark with a total annual energy production of 650 GWh.
This corresponds to the annual energy consumption of 200,000 people. Similarly, the parks help reduce carbon emissions by 330,000 tonnes of CO2e per year.

BeGreen's Annual Report
At BeGreen, fairness is a core value in our DNA. We remain dedicated in our projects and take responsibility for developing and operating large-scale solar parks from cradle to grave. Thereby we ensure that the parks produce without problems and offer the highest production reliability in the market.
It is BeGreen’s objective to develop, build and operate 1 GWp per year by the end of 2025 based on our considerable pipeline of new projects in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Poland.

BeGreen’s history
BeGreen is a Danish solar developer established in 2017 as part of the Bregentved Group. In November 2022, BeGreen was acquired by Equinor, and today we are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Norwegian energy giant.
As part of Bregentved’s long-term strategy for sustainability, BeGreen was founded on the vision of developing and building the first 100 per cent subsidy-free commercial solar parks in Denmark, thereby actively contributing to the green transition. We did that for the first time in 2019.
