On Wednesday, June 18, Ingerslev Å solar park was officially opened. Behind the park is BeGreen, a Danish energy actor that both develops, builds, owns, and operates land-based renewable energy projects.

About the opening

Approximately 85 guests attended the opening, where they first embarked on a Tour d’Solar Park. Here they could learn about the transformer station, which connects the power to the national grid, the many environmental considerations incorporated into the park, and the technology behind the solar installation.

Following the tour, guests gathered in and around the tent, as well as outdoors beneath the sunny sky, where speeches were held before the official opening of the park.

BeGreen’s CEO, Wojciech Cetnarski, said in his speech:

“Ingerslev Å solar park is a really good example of what we can create together for the benefit of our climate. Our parks remain in our hands, so for the next few decades, we will continue to be neighbors at Ingerslev Å Solar Park — while at the same time developing new exciting projects for renewable energy on land.”

About Ingerslev Å solar park

For BeGreen, each solar park is unique — tailored to the local landscape. In the Ingerslev Å solar park, planting belts, beetle banks, and other environmental considerations have been established.

  • Number of solar panels: 107.562
  • Kilometer plant belts: 3,85
  • New high-voltage station established as the technical foundation for the park
  • Capacity: 65 MWp
