Our Approach to
Energy Facilities
We develop energy facilities that fit into the landscape and deliver green power for many years. Each project is unique and built on thorough planning, local considerations, and a strong technical standard.
The Future Is Electric – And We’re in a Hurry
Denmark’s energy consumption will increase significantly in the coming years as we replace oil, coal, and gas with renewable energy. Electric cars, heat pumps, and digital services are shifting our demand to the power grid—and that’s good, because electricity is flexible and can be green if we produce it the right way.
But this development requires action. Today, solar and wind cover about 62% of electricity consumption, and according to the Danish Energy Agency, consumption will double by 2035. We therefore need to produce much more renewable energy to avoid coal, gas, or imports.
Even the most efficient facilities cannot stand alone. Wind and solar do not always deliver when demand is highest. This creates challenges with stability and flexibility—without balancing, we risk price fluctuations and, in the worst case, power outages. Surplus energy in the middle of the day must be stored for the evening.
This is where batteries come in: They make it possible to store energy from solar and wind and use it when we need it most.

We Build Hybrid Parks
We combine solar, batteries, and intelligent solutions in hybrid parks that optimise the use of energy.
Our Approach to Sustainability
Nature is our starting point—from the first ideas to when the facility is operational. We develop projects that not only deliver green energy but also create space for more biodiversity. We integrate nature-enhancing measures from the outset—such as hedgerows, insect banks, and water habitats—so our facilities become a positive part of the local landscape. With respect for the surroundings and in close dialogue with local communities, we work to create projects that strengthen the climate, nature, and the communities around them.
We Always Focus on Health and Safety
On our construction sites, health and safety—HSE—are the foundation of our entire approach. We work purposefully to create a safety culture where everyone has a voice and where it is completely natural to speak up if something feels unsafe. Ensuring that everyone gets home safely every day is not just a goal—it is a shared responsibility.
We work closely with our contractors to ensure that risks are assessed, managed, and prevented early. It’s about creating a work environment where security and responsibility go hand in hand. Safety also concerns rights—both as a person and as a worker. Below, you can read about some of the measures we actively implement in our construction projects to ensure exactly that.
Physical and Technical Safety Measures
We comply with all legal requirements for safety preparedness. Our digital infrastructure protects against unauthorized access, and construction sites are fenced with access control and surveillance. In case of incidents, we follow established procedures and maintain direct contact with authorities such as the Danish Energy Agency, police, and fire department.
We Are Present on Site
On the construction site, an HSE manager is present to ensure compliance with all requirements from the Danish Working Environment Authority and to handle documentation and collaboration with trade unions correctly. Through daily toolbox talks, spot checks, and social audits, we follow up to ensure that workers have proper conditions, fair wages, and decent housing.
We Create Space for Dialogue and Improvement
We support collaboration between contractors and trade unions, offer an anonymous grievance mechanism, and continuously follow up to strengthen relationships and adapt our efforts.
We Set Clear Requirements and Follow Up
The requirements are clearly described in contracts, including human rights and a labor clause that ensures wages according to Danish collective agreements such as 3F or TEKNIQ. We systematically collect documentation and respond quickly to deviations.
We Choose Partners Carefully
Before entering an agreement, we assess their policies and practices—including how they manage their own subcontractors. If red flags arise, we reserve the right to say no.
