Neighbor Information
On this page, you will find information specifically for neighbors of our solar parks. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We are here to listen and provide you with the answers you need.
How do we engage with our neighbors?
At BeGreen, we prioritize open and transparent communication with the local communities surrounding our solar parks. We initiate dialogue with our new neighbors early on to understand your concerns and consider your suggestions. We are committed to maintaining this dialogue throughout the entire process, offering various opportunities to meet and discuss along the way.
Neighbor Visits
We offer visits to neighbors who want a direct and personal dialogue about upcoming plans, the process, concerns, and the possibility of a Renewable Energy (VE) bonus and compensation for potential property value loss.
Dialogue Meetings
When we submit our application to the municipality, we invite all our neighbors to join the discussion. We present the plan and listen to suggestions and ideas, ensuring everyone can see themselves in the project. Close neighbors receive direct invitations, while other residents are invited via local newspapers, local associations, and, if possible, the municipality’s website.
Site Inspections
In some cases, it is highly beneficial to conduct joint site inspections with neighbors, local associations, and other stakeholders to visualize how the project will unfold. This allows us to discuss the landscape, boundaries, and potential impact on the local area.
Availability
We are always available to answer your questions or provide updates. Whether you prefer to reach out via phone or email, our team is here to ensure you have the information you need.
The Green Fund
If you are a resident in a municipality where we are building a solar park, you can benefit from the Green Fund.
As a developer of renewable energy facilities, we are required to contribute financially to the Green Fund. The size of the Green Fund depends on the amount of power produced at the specific solar park. As a neighbor to one of our parks, you have the opportunity to apply for funds from the Green Fund for concrete, green projects in your local area. In this way, BeGreen contributes to your community while making Denmark’s energy consumption greener and more sustainable.
Relevant legislation
If you are a neighbor to one of our solar parks, we have gathered relevant guidelines and legislation that may be useful to you. All renewable energy development in Denmark is regulated under the Act on the Promotion of Renewable Energy (VE), which requires BeGreen to comply with laws aimed at protecting neighbors and local communities.
